Suzy Q doing better after horrific SUV incident - Houston weather, traffic, news | FOX 26 | MyFoxHouston

Suzy Q is making a steady recovery after getting dragged behind an SUV in October.

The pavement ground her hooves down to meat and bone, but they are growing back.

"She's in pain, but she's a good donkey.  She's coming along with all of us," owner Darryl Byrd said.

Byrd said her bandages get changed regularly and she is infection free.  She's on pain medication and antibiotics and is going to get x-rays on Nov. 12.
