It may be a few more weeks before a woman will know if she gets to keep the children she gave birth to.
A Harris County civil court judge said she needs more time to rule on the lawsuit pitting Cindy Close versus Marvin McMurrey.
In September, we first reported Close was being sued for custody of her twins. Her longtime friend, McMurrey, claims, in a lawsuit, Close agreed to serve as a surrogate for him and his partner.
Close said McMurrey misled her, claiming they would be co-parents. She said she never knew he was gay.
The judge could rule on the case in November.
