UH cornerback Hayden in hospital after injury during practice

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

University of Houston cornerback D.J. Hayden was injured during practice Tuesday and taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann.

The school confirmed the injury but cannot release any other details.

Two weeks ago, Hayden had two interceptions against UTEP, returning one of them for a touchdown and was named Conference USA defensive player of the week.
