Mom accidentally runs over child in front of school, Aldine ISD says

A child is in the hospital after his mother accidentally ran him over with her car, Aldine ISD says.

It happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday in front of Johnson Elementary School on Wildpine at Hamill.

The mother drove her child back to school because he forgot his homework.  While the vehicle was still moving, the child jumped out the back door.

The vehicle ran over his leg.  He also injured his shoulder from the fall.

The child was taken to LBJ Hospital.  He still had feeling in his leg and shoulder.
