Propane explosion injures 7 in Montgomery County - Houston weather, traffic, news | FOX 26 | MyFoxHouston

Several people have been injured after a propane explosion in central Montgomery County.

Around noon Tuesday, deputies were called to the Amerigas Cyclinder Exchange, a propane distribution business, in the 10900 block of FM 1485 at Waukegan, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said.

At least seven people have been injured in the explosion.  Medical helicopters took two people to nearby burn centers.  Five others were taken to nearby hospitals via ambulances.

Amerigas Cyclinder Exchange says the situation is under control.
