HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
A father is behind bars after police say they found his children living in a filthy home in Seabrook, Texas.
Joe Bob Knox, 58, is charged with two counts of child endangerment.
On Nov. 2, Seabrook Police got a call about two sisters, ages 2 and 5, who had not eaten in a couple of days.
Officers went to the Casa Bonita Apartments and inspected the home, finding animal feces, urine and signs of drug use, Seabrook Police say. The children were dirty and appeared not to have bathed.
Officers arrested Knox. Child Protective Services took the girls into custody.
Their mother was not at the apartment and has not yet been questioned.
