Heavy truck accident shuts down IH-10 near Brookshire

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

A heavy truck accident has shut down all eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Brookshire.

The accident happened Friday afternoon at IH-10 and FM 359.

A LifeFlight medical helicopter took one person to the hospital.

Investigators believe this accident led to a series of other accidents, including one involving another 18-wheeler.
