Police are searching for at least two people who robbed a McDonald's restaurant in west Houston and locked the employees in a freezer.
The robbery was reported around 3:45 a.m. Friday at the 24-hour McDonald's restaurant on State Highway 6/Addicks Howell Road near Piping Rock Lane.

After encountering two other employees, the robber threatened one of them to open the safe and forced all three of the workers into a freezer.
The robber exited the restaurant and fled in the van.
"I didn't know what to expect. I thought he was going to come back and shoot us," said one of the employees who had contacted police from her cell phone. "I didn't know to expect. I started praying."
The robbers took $1,000 from the restaurant. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
