HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
FOX 26 News has learned ZBrush Workshops has contacted Dead Panic Studios to offer ZBrush tutorials on their website.
To hear Mark Hendrix tell it, ZBrush Workshops is one of the de facto places to go if you want to learn more about the digital sculpting tool.
Ron McLeroy and hundreds of other artists use ZBrush to create vibrant 3D art for the movie and video game industry. Ryan Kingslien, the owner of ZBrushWorkshops, called McLeroy if he was interested in doing a tutorial for him.
"That site is … if you're a 3D character artist, you should go there to learn from him because his knowledge of ZBrush, the program itself and anatomy is the highest out there," McLeroy said. "And it was an honor for him to even ask me if I was interested in contributing."
Hendrix and McLeroy are happily certain the opportunity will shine a spotlight on their fledgling studio.
