A dangerous child predator who walked away from a east Houston halfway house is now on the Texas 10 most wanted sex offender list.
58, year old Thomas Lee Elkins has worked in the past as a truck driver and diesel mechanic. His prior arrest record includes:
- Aggravated sexual assault
- Sexual Assault
- Assault
- Aggravated Kidnapping
- Aggravated Rape
- Forcible Rape
- Indecent liberties with a child
Elkins, is also considered a person of interest in a serial homicide investigation outside of Texas, although no charges were ever filed.
Elkins has family in Texas, Virginia, Ohio and Indiana.
Elkins is approximately 6'6" tall and weighs 200 lbs. He has blue eyes, grey hair and a distinctive "Fu Manchu" moustache. He wears glasses for reading only and walks with a limp. He also has been known to shave his head and facial hair.
