Police searching for man after his nephew is stabbed

Officers are searching for a man after his nephew was stabbed during an argument in northwest Houston.

Police arrived around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to the parking lot of an apartment complex on Wirt Road near Kilburn Road in response to a reported stabbing when they found a 25-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

The man and his nephew were involved in an argument on Wednesday night which ended with the stabbing.

The stabbing victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital in critical condition and later died.

Homicide investigators have not determined why the argument started.
