Most of the undercover video inside Babes on FM 1960 is too graphic to show on TV. To say there's inappropriate touching going on while some women are getting tips is an understatement.
Some customers might see Babes, formerly Bikini Wing Bar, as nothing more than a place to have a good time, but the Harris County Attorney's Office says Babes is den for prostitution, drugs and plenty of other crimes.
"Assaults on the property, cars being broken into, it's a hub of criminal activity," County Attorney Vince Ryan said.
In just a few years, Ryan said 125 crimes have occurred at the nightclub.
"You've got these residential areas that are adjacent to 1960," Ryan said. "They're impacted by these criminal activities and where do the criminals go next? They go right to the nearby neighborhoods."
In September, FOX 26 Investigates was at Babes when police arrested a dozen people, including dancers and customers. They confiscated drugs and at least one gun.
The county attorney filed a lawsuit, saying Babes' owners are maintaining the property as a nuisance. If Ryan has his way, Babes will soon have a permanent "last call".
"Or they will be so limited in what they can do, they'll close down because they ain't making the kind of money they're making now," Ryan said.
The owner of Babes didn't return our calls seeking comment.
