Stranger runs away after junior high student kicks him in the face

Katy ISD has issued a stranger danger alert after a man tried to pick up a junior high student at a bus stop.

The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. Friday at Longspring Drive and Autumn Fern Drive near McMeans Junior High, Katy ISD says.

The junior high student and a friend were waiting at a bus stop when an unknown man approached and told the student to come with him.  When he bent down, the student kicked him in the face.  The man ran away.

The man's race is not known.  He was wearing black shoes, black pants, black hoodie, black hat and black gloves.
