Homicide investigators are trying to determine how someone's body ended up at a southwest Houston waste facility.

Houston police arrived before 6 a.m. Friday to the Waste Services, Inc. Ruffino Hills Transfer Station on Ruffino Road near Stanwood Drive in response to a dead on arrival report.

Homicide investigators learned the body of a male was found inside a large garbage bin after a truck deposited a load of trash at the facility.
