Scholarship, funeral set for Hempstead High teacher

Funeral arrangements have been set for a Hempstead High School teacher who died in an auto accident over the weekend.

Randall Lacey was killed in a head-on collision on SH 105 Saturday morning.

Lacey taught career and technical education.  He leaves behind a wife and four children.  His wife is the principal of Hempstead Elementary and his daughter is a teacher at Hempstead Middle School.

The "Randall Lacey CTE Memorial Scholarship" has been set up in his honor.  You can donate through Hempstead ISD.

His funeral is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hempstead High School Auditorium.
