Deputies investigate case of body wrapped in blanket

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office are waiting on autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine what led to the death of a male whose body deputies found wrapped in a blanket.

Deputies arrived around 11 p.m. Thursday to a unit the Timberwalk Apartments on Timber Creek Place Drive near Timber Creek Place Lane in northwest Harris County in response to a welfare check. They found the body inside the unit and met with the male's roommate, a female, who admitted to stabbing him.

The investigation remains open into the male's death.
