Search underway for missing mother of 2 children

Posted: Updated:

Texas EquuSearch volunteers and relatives are helping search for the mother of two children.

The search effort resumed around 10 a.m. Thursday at the Regency Square Apartment Homes on Bellerive Drive as volunteers and relatives sought clues to help find Michelle Leigh Warner , who was last seen late on Friday night at the complex.

Warner's boyfriend, who lives with her, told police that she left from the complex around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Relatives of Warner told FOX 26 News that her ex-boyfriend left Houston with their 3-year-old son and drove to Odessa in her car. They also told FOX 26 that they saw bleach stains on the carpet of the apartment unit where she lived.

Warner is described as standing at a height of 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighing between 125 and 130 pounds, with a slender build, blue eyes, dark brown hair with a slight red tint, a dolphin tattoo on the back of her shoulder, a small butterfly tattoo on her foot and a stud nose ring.

Anyone with information about Warner's disappearance is encouraged to contact the Houston Police Department missing persons unit by phone at 713-731-5332.
