FRIENDSWOOD, Texas (FOX 26) -

Police have arrested two teens who are suspects in the alleged sale of marijuana to students at Friendswood High School and Pearland High School.

Robert Anthony Tyson, 18, and Nathan Gaines II, 17, have each been charged with Possession of Marijuana. Both teens are Pearland residents.

Officers executed a search warrant after 11 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2100 block of County Road 129, near the Friendswood city limits in Brazoria County.

Friendswood police and Brazoria County sheriff's deputies had been investigating the home over a period of several weeks when Tyson and Gaines walked out of the house.

Officers searched the house and found 48 units of LSD, 200 grams of hydroponic marijuana and multiple guns. They placed Tyson and Gaines into custody in the Brazoria County jail.

A man who also lives in the home will be charged with both possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Police expect an arrest warrant to be filed against that man on Wednesday.

The arrests took place near the Friendswood Independent School District agriculture barn on Baker Road where an assault was reported on May 29. Investigators will determine if the drug activity is related to the assault case.
