Six months in jail, 10 years probation and a $1,000 fine: that's what an ex-Spring ISD teacher will get for raping a 13-year-old girl inside a classroom.

Andre Levelle Thomas, 33, pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child.  The attack happened on Aug. 31, 2011 at Dr. Edward Robertson Middle School.

Investigators say Thomas, an industrial technology teacher, called the girl into his classroom between ninth and tenth period.  He then sexually assaulted her.

Charges were filed and Spring ISD put Thomas on administrative leave.
