Woman accused in shooting husband over cat dispute

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables are investigating a domestic dispute over a cat that led to a shooting.

Deputy constables arrived Tuesday morning to a home on Seaton Valley Drive in the Spring area in response to a reported domestic dispute and found a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach. They say his wife shot him because he threatened to harm their cat.

The husband was taken to a nearby hospital and deputy constables have not said what, if any, charges will be filed in the case.
