
A new option is now available for travelers at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Spirit Airlines flights between Houstonand Dallas-Fort Worth began on Thursday morning from Terminal A. Two nonstop flights departing from Houston to Dallas-Fort Worth will be available twice each day.
Passengerson the inaugural flight told FOX 26 News that they were thrilled with the new low-cost air travel option.
Spirit Airlines willalso offer flights from Houston to Chicagoand Las Vegas beginning on Oct. 4.
"We know that Houstonians have been hungry for low fares and we are thrilled to be here to satisfy that need," said Spirit Airlines Chief Marketing Officer Barry Biffle, a native of Texas. "We are committed to saving our customers money on travel by offering them the lowest fares, and we look forward to giving our new customers from Houston the opportunity to take advantage of the ultra low fares that the rest of our growing customer base has come to know and love."

"Today, Bush Intercontinental celebrates Spirit's new non-stop service to Dallas/Fort Worth as it offers low-fare flights between two strong business centers.
