Former Rice forward Kazemi meets with Oregon

Houston, Texas--- (FOX26) College basketball sources told FOX 26 sports former Rice forward Arsalan Kazemi met Wednesday in Houston with Oregon basketball coach Dana Altman.

Rice granted Kazemi his release on Monday so that he can transfer.

Kazemi, is considering six schools including Oregon, Texas, Kentucky, Ohio State, Florida and Cincinnati..

Last season as a junior, Kazemi led the Owls in scoring (12.1) and rebounding (10.3) and was named to the Conference USA All Conference 2nd Team.
