The Houston Texans are doing their part to get kids moving and make healthy food choices.
Defensive players J.J. Watt and Antonio Smith joined the American Heart Association at Hartman Middle School. They kicked of the NFL Play 60 Challenge with more than 700 students.
The kids played games geared to learning more about nutrition and activities that can get them moving.
"Nowadays, you see a lot of kids on the videogames, a lot of kids watching TV," Watt said. "I think we need to get back to those days where kids loved being outside, where kids loved being in the backyard, and making up games on their own."
The goal of the NFL Play 60 Challenge is to help schools create a healthy lifestyle for kids.
