HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
Ten local veterans received much-needed repairs to their homes Thursday, for free.
Volunteers from Home Depot spent their day off, fixing up houses for people who have served our country.
It's part of the company's multi-million dollar "Celebration of Service" project.
The company's planning on $30 million in three years.
"We're actually meeting that by a year early," Home Depot Manager Jim Bussell said. "So we're actually planning on $50 million for the next three years."
The volunteers will refurbish a total of 20 homes over the next coupe of months.
