Galveston, TX--(Fox26)  Galveston police say a 74 year old Houston woman missing since early Saturday morning has been found alive.

Barbara Griffitts, who family members say suffers from dementia disappeared around 2 a.m. Saturday morning at the Delanera RV park near Holiday beach.

Galveston police located Griffitts around 1:30 PM Sunday afternoon on the west side of the island.

She was transported to the hospital for treatment for dehydration.  She is expected to make a full recovery.
