HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
Roger Clemens is planning a second start for the Sugar Land Skeeters and he expects it to be on Sept. 7.
In a text message to FOX 26 Sports, Clemens said he and the Skeeters are planning for his next start to be a week from Friday against the Long Island Ducks at Constellation Field.
Skeeters President Matt OBrien told FOX 26 Sports the club is not in position to confirm anything at this point.
Clemens was impressive in his return to professional baseball for the first time since 2007 when he started for the Skeeters on Saturday.
He threw 3 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball.
During that outing Clemens gave up one hit, with two strikeouts and no walks while throwing 37 pitches.
