Verizon Wireless employees have been barred from taking vacations between Sept. 21 and Sept. 30, which coincides with the projected sale of the iPhone 5 in Verizon Wireless stores. The announcement on the iPhone launch is scheduled to take place Sept. 12 with pre-orders to begin the same day.

YouTube has launched a politics channel ( http://www.youtube.com/politics ) and is working in partnership with news organizations around the world to execute that effort.
