HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
The City of Sugar Land has confirmed its first case of West Nile Virus.
This latest comes a day after Harris County Mosquito Control conducted overnight aerial spray operations.
In Texas, 640 cases of West Nile Virus have been confirmed, including 23 deaths.
Sugar Land says it has recently increased mosquito sprays and is working with the state department of health services to trap mosquitoes and test for the virus.
