A Houston nanny heads to court on Friday morning to face allegations of severely abusing a baby girl.

Prosecutors say the abuse was captured on surveillance video.       

Court documents say Tirza Magana admitted to trying to suffocate the baby on multiple occasions.

Prosecutors say the baby girl's parents used a surveillance camera to monitor the nanny after they became suspicious of her.

Magana is charged with endangering a child.
