Police in Rosenberg have arrested a suspect in a series of burglaries that took place at multiple Lamar Consolidated Independent School district campuses.

Johnie Lee Rodgers, 51, was arrested Sunday by Rosenberg police and charged with burglary of a building. He is in custody in the Fort Bend County jail with a bond of $50,000.

After Rosenberg police released information about the burglaries that took place Wednesday at Lamar Junior High School on Mustang Avenue and the Lamar Development Center on East Stadium Drive, investigators determined Rodgers was a suspect.

When investigators found Rodgers, he admitted his role in the burglaries of the junior high campus and development center, in addition to the burglary of Lamar High School, also on Mustang Avenue.
