Michael Brown's defense attorneys aren't calling it a warrant, but a judge has ordered the founder and former front man for the Brown Hand Center to get out of Florida and back into a Houston courtroom.
Jeanne McDowell, one of Brown's attorneys, says a capias order was issued at a Tuesday hearing regarding some hefty fees to Brown's wife's attorney.
Brown had paid his wife's attorney $2 million in 2012 and he's now being ordered to pay more fees worth slightly less than $2 million. Brown doesn't agree with that order.
When the judge issued the capias, Brown was in Florida and could not appear right away. The capias does include an arrest option, but McDowell believes that will be unlikely.
