Boy found safe after he was reported missing in Galveston

A 9-year-old boy who was reported missing in Galveston on Sunday evening has been found and both Child Protective services and juvenile detectives have intervened in the case.

Galveston police initiated a search for Jacob Wieseckel after he was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Sunday near his home on Bayou Homes Drive.

Wieseckel has been diagnosed with mood disorder which requires medication.
