HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
One day after presumptive G.O.P. Presidential candidate Mitt Romney addressed the NAACP Annual Convention in Houston and was jeered for his plan to abolish health care reform, Vice President Joe Biden addressed the same audience and described Romney's plan as "health care controlled by insurance companies."
During a speech Thursday morning before the NAACP convention crowd at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Vice Pres. Biden also said, "Education doesn't play a major role" in Mitt Romney's vision for America.
Biden appeared on behalf of Pres. Obama, who did leave a recorded video message for the convention audience.
"It's about your vision for the future of America, and here, here the candidates for President have fundamentally different visions for the future of this country," said Biden during the address.
