Deadly shooting at Taco Cabana in west Houston - Houston weather, traffic, news | FOX 26 | MyFoxHouston

One man is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting just outside a Taco Cabana restaurant in west Houston.

The shooting happened Monday evening at Clay Road and Beltway 8.  Police markers indicate the shooting happened in the front parking lot.  Around 13 shell casings were at the scene.

It appears the shooting may have erupted from a drug deal gone bad.  The man who died at the scene was inside an SUV.  Marijuana was also inside that SUV.
