Whether you call it a trend or a new reality, the amount of African Americans turning toward a more natural look, for their hair, is on the rise.   

While there are those who choose to chemically straighten their hair, others are living with it the way it grows.   

Products that cater to the natural hair industry are worth a quarter of a billion dollars annually and FOX 26 business reporter Tom Zizka says some business owners in the Houston area are helping to led the charge.
