Rice adds Gus Argenal to basketball staff

Former UC-Davis coach Gus Argenal joins Ben Braun's staff at Rice.

Argenal spent the 2011-2012 season at UC-Davis, where he was a former star player.

Prior to that he was at Chico State for three years.

He's also coached at UT-San Antonio and Arizona State.

"Gus has really good work ethic and has a good feel for team leadership," Braun said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports.

Argenal joins former USC assistant Adam Cohen and associate head coach Louis Reynaud, as Braun completes his staff.
