NBA sources confirm the Rockets traded center Samuel Dalembert along with the 14th pick in the draft and cash to the Milwaukee Bucks for the 12th pick and three players.
The Rockets get guard Shaun Livingston and forwards Jon Brockman and Jon Leuer.
"It's the business," Dalembert said in an interview with FOX 26 Sports. "I'm not shocked.
"I knew it was going to be a long summer for them. We have to make some sacrifices. We have to do some stuff."
Dalembert said he believes this is right move for him.
"I like the guys there," Dalembert said. "The guys were good. Some guys weren't happy too.
"I think it was best to make this move."
Dalembert said he certainly did not expect to get traded this quickly.
"Not soon like that," Dalembert said. "I know that something had to be done.
"The beginning of the season, the first 20 games of the season everthing was going well. Everybody was really happy and then suddenly all the stuff (started) taking a turn for itself where there was some upside down and things like that.
"Sometimes teams make decisions and (it) works then (a) decision doesn't work. Hopefully this decision works for them."
Dalembert looks forward to joining the Bucks.
"They are a very good team and they're missing the big men out there and I think I can fill up the spot and help them make the playoffs," Dalembert said.
