HOUSTON (FOX 26) -
A 7-year-old boy has died and his police are pointing fingers at his mom.
Linda Harden, 34, is set to appear in court Monday on a charge of injury to a child by omission.
On June 21, Houston Police investigators said Linda took her child, Joseph, to a swimming pool despite it being closed off. Joseph dove into the pool, hitting his head.
When he didn't surface, EMS crews were called in to transport him to a nearby hospital. He died on Saturday.
Child Protective Services took custody of Linda's other three children, all under five years of age. She is 3 ½-months pregnant and is in custody on $100,000 bond.
