Houston is one of many cities where budget trouble has landed on the shoulders of city employees and their pension plans.

This year, Mayor Annise Parker says she will unveil her latest ideas to change state law and change the way those pensions plans are handled.

It's a big deal to those employees and their families and to the city's taxpayers.
