Firefighter cadet injured at Houston Fire Department training center

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

A firefighter cadet has been reported injured at the Houston Fire Department training center.

The cadet was taken from the Val Jahnke Training Facility to Memorial Hermann Hospital around 11 a.m. Thursday, HFD Captain Lozano confirmed with FOX 26 News.

The extent of the cadet's injuries has not been released.
