Ned Hibberd is an award-winning general assignment reporter for FOX 26 News at 9. Since starting at FOX 26 in 1988, Ned has interviewed presidents and paupers, mayors and millionaires, artists and arsonists.

Although he grew up in Philadelphia, Ned has called Houston home since he was 17. He graduated with honors from Rice University, earning Bachelor's degrees in English, Sociology and Behavioral Science. Ned was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

After graduation, Ned worked as an administrative assistant in Federal District Court, monitoring the state prison system (TDCJ) for Judge William Wayne Justice. He completed an internship at FOX 26 in 1988 and joined the FOX 26 News team in 1990.

Ned has held numerous titles within the FOX 26 News department including production crewmember, assignments editor, associate producer, investigative reporter, fill-in anchor and general assignments reporter.

In his free time, Ned enjoys reading, camping, playing the drums, music production and ambitious home-improvement projects. He is married and has three sons.
