This week's predator check is in search of a man... charged with violating his probation... for fondling a little girl. He's missing and there's a reward for his arrest.
This man is 61-year-old Enrique Ledezma. He's 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. In 2009, he was convicted of 'indecency with a child by contact.'
Ledezma's last-known address was on the 8300-hundred block of Howard Drive. That's in southeast Houston between the Gulf Freeway and Galveston Road.
He registered there as a sex offender as part of his 5-year probation for inappropriately touching an 8-year-old girl.
When police tried to check up on him in September, they discovered he'd moved a year ago without reporting it.
“The chance that these offenders and persons who are put on probation are given, is something that you and I do everyday,” says Katherine Cabaniss with Houston Crime Stoppers. “Follow the law. Live in one place. Go to work. Do community service. Behave yourself, and don't violate the law any further. In this case, one of the things that was a failure was registering the residential address."
If you know where to find Enrique Ledezma, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to his arrest. You can call anonymously at 713-222-TIPS.
