The Unabashed Blogorrhea shaking and stirring while serving up pugnacious NFL and BMOC picks each and every week. Entertainment purposes only. Money back not guaranteed.
The rules each week: fearlessly (or not) forecasting the Texans and the Cowboys always plus four other games from the weekly professional slate which supposedly allegedly offer particularly promising prospects. The BCS derby on hold until the bowl bonanza rolls in later in the month. Thems the rules.
Some many comings and goings this week and in the case of Rocketball – not coming and going. The Texans and a potentially first-ever clinch Sunday, Sumlin, Robert Griffin, Dekaney and Trey Williams and two other high school hot shot outfits surging into the state championship final. So an abbreviated version for Week 13.
Quickly to the picks …
BENGALS (-3) vs. TEXANS
The rook to the road for the first time. T.J. Yates faces a top-10 statistical defense with Andre MIA yet again. Bengals in supposed desperation mode with their playoff push on fumes with their own first-year quarterback Andy Dalton roughed up during the three-losses-in-four-games skid. The one-time Katy kid makes one more play in an ugly 14-10 16-9 kind of verdict on the Cincy side. Such a shame because a win with the Titans falling at home to the Saints would have clinched that break-through to the playoffs – a first for the city since 1993. Just have to wait one more week. And it’s so much more fun on the home turf.
COWBOYS (-3) vs. GIANTS
Time-out coach hired during mid-week proves an impactful asset to Garrett.
SAINTS (-4) at TITANS
CHARGERS (-7) vs. BILLS
DOLPHINS (-3) vs. EAGLES
PATRIOTS (-9) at REDSKINS
Tote Board To Date
Texans (8-4)
Cowboys (5-6-1)
Rest (32-12-1)
BMOC (24-17)
