It was 2006 when Marty Pate's ex-wife moved to Brazil taking the couple's daughter Nicole with her. In just a few days Nicole turns 10-years-old.

"Here I am another year has gone by and no Christmas, no New Year's no birthday or anything like that this year," Pate said.

Even though Pate has custody and criminal charges are filed against his ex-wife, the Brazilian government refuses to help him.
