Taysa Orsagh, who also goes by Taysa Bean, was in court last month for violating the terms of a custody agreement.
Taysa and her ex-husband Jeremy Orsagh are both former teachers with Katy ISD They both taught at Morton Ranch High School.
-- Rumors Spread About Sexual Tryst --
In August 2009, Jeremy said he heard a disturbing rumor. His ex-wife Taysa had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student. What did he think when he first heard that rumor?
"I didn't believe it," Jeremy said. "Just like any man would think you know you're not going to believe it. Especially with a student."
But Orsagh and two other former Morton Ranch High School coaches believed Katy ISD should investigate. So a year and a half ago they told school administrators.
As Jeremy later testified, this was the district's reaction.
"They did not want another sex scandal going on like had happened the year before," Jeremy said.

In July of 2008, a year before Katy ISD was made aware of Taysa's alleged sexual tryst with a student, Morton Ranch High School teacher Virgina Cammack was criminally charged with having sex with a 17-year-old student. Cammack is currently on deferred probation as part of a plea bargain.
"It's all about reputation it's all about status," Jeremy said. "They didn't want that status or reputation tarnished anymore than it had been the year before."
In August 2009 when Katy ISD was made aware of Taysa's alleged sexual relationship with a student, she was no longer employed with the district.
According to Katy ISD records on March 11 2009 Taysa was put on administrative leave with pay for "allowing an inappropriate presentation/topic to take place in her classroom" and "allowing students to set school property on fire."
Taysa resigned from Katy ISD on March 12, 2009.
-- Ex-Husband Says It's a Cover Up --
"The most disturbing thing is that it seems like it's been swept under the rug by Katy ISD," attorney Joe Indelicato said.
As part of the custody hearing, these attorneys said they deposed the former Morton High student who under oath described how he and his former teacher skipped school to have sex.
"From what he said in his deposition was that the teacher was the aggressor and that she took his phone put her number in there and she started texting and communicating with him," Indelicato said.
After the sexual encounter Taysa asked the high school junior to go away for a weekend with her but he said no, according to the deposition.
While Taysa didn't answer our questions, during her testimony on the stand she denied having sex with her former student. She also stated no one from Katy ISD ever contacted her about it.
"The young man in his deposition, sworn testimony states that no one ever contacted him from Katy ISD," Indelicato said.
“It's been totally neglected for a year and a half to two years," attorney George Lewis Jr. said. "Based on the fact of what he said, they never even talked to him. It's almost unbelievable that nobody would interview this kid after what happened."
And the attorneys said no one from the school district seemed interested in the former student’s deposition.
Assistant Superintendent Deb Harris told us they are investigating.
"We followed policy and procedures," Harris said. "There was an investigation, the Katy ISD Police were notified and also S.B.E.C was notified the state board of education certification.”
And yet during this year and a half of investigating by the district, they've yet to even contact the two people involved.
"I think it's rather shocking that a school district that's in charge of minors would not jump on this in a couple of days," Indelicato said.
"And they say there's an investigation, but it's been a year and a half and nothing's been done," Lewis said.
The Texas Education Agency told us Taysa's teaching certificate is currently under review due to the on-going investigation.
