A ceremony was held Saturday to honor union members killed on September 11, 2001.
SEIU 32BJ is the largest property services union in the country and a ceremony was held to honor the men and women from SEIU 32BJ who lost their lives on 9/11.
The ceremony also had awards given to the current private security officers who excelled in the line of duty.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly joined the union president Mike Fishman in honoring the members.
The 32BJ Union has 120,000 members in eight states and Washington, DC and is affiliated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
