HOUSTON - Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels provides meals to over 1,400 elderly a day, but they also provide a host of different services including hurricane season preparation.

Our FOXRAD Hurricane Briefing has meteorologist John Dawson visiting with Manuela Arroyos, CEO of Fort Bend Senior Meals on Wheels discussing the attention they pay towards hurricane season.

They provide emergency shelf meals to insure their clients have meals if the wheels are unavailable due to a storm.

They also help to provide transportation during evacuations.

For those who shelter-in-place, they provide flashlights, batteries, toiletries and other items all families should have in case of an emergency.

If you would like to donate or more information can be found on their website:

You can also call them at 281-633-7052.
