Infant Injured in Crash with Police Car

HOUSTON - Police say an infant suffered minor injures in a wreck with a Houston officer’s patrol car on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. in the 7700 block of Bellaire Blvd.

An HPD spokesman says the crash involved three vehicles and blocked three lanes on Bellaire.

The child suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is not known and is under investigation.
