HOUSTON - Police arrest a driver who allegedly failed to call for help after running a car into a motorcycle driver in southwest Houston.
The accident took place after 10 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Bellaire Boulveard and Baneway Drive. Investigators say the motorcycle rider was traveling eastbound on Bellaire Boulevard when a small car clipped the rear part of the motorcycle and caused the rider to crash.
The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet when the crash took place and was taken to West Houston Medical Center in stable condition.
Police say the driver never stopped the car and continued traveling, but was later found parked at a nearby apartment complex and was taken into custody.
