Chemical Truck Falls Over in Channelview

CHANNELVIEW, Texas - Part of an east Harris County neighborhood was blocked off Friday afternoon when a tanker truck fell on its side.

It is believed the truck was carrying ethylene when it wrecked had the intersection of Northshore at Lakeside. Aerial views of the scene did not indicate any of the chemical leaked, and a second tanker truck was brought in to transport the gas.

The cause of the crash is not known. No serious injuries were reported.
